There are so many online tools and softwares available today that can help us leverage our time tremendously as business owners. Some tools can even be set in such a way that it could automate up till 80% of the tasks, leaving you time and energy to tackle more important stuff in your business.

When it comes to business marketing, I’ve found that I’m using these tools regularly to help promote my own business and those of my clients.


MailChimp logo

Great for sending out and tracking email newsletter. Quick to setup, very friendly user interface for beginners, and great for marketers alike. You can choose from MailChimp’s expansive selection of templates or design your own if you have the skill to do so (or you can commission our team at Trusted Web Expert to do it). Excellent tool to keep in touch with your prospects and clients, and to place your brand in front of people’s mind so when they are in need of your service, they’ll remember you.


LeadPages logo

If you regularly promote an event or a product/service, LeadPages is a great tool for presenting a Landing Page, and with the ability to collect details such as email address, first name, etc. Great for promoting webinars, live events, workshops, product launches, special offers, end-of-season sale. At the same time, you will be building your database by collecting useful information (with their consent) from your website visitors.


WordPress logo

By no question one of the widely used website Content Management System (CMS) in the world, WordPress powered around 25% of the websites in the world! We build WordPress sites day to day and it’s my favourite platform.

Great for anything from a simple information brochure online type website to online shop, e-commerce, membership sites and advanced website features. With the free platform you can literally get up and running online in matter of minutes. Obviously planning and strategic directions are crucial to determine the success of your website, so talk to your web designer about how to maximise the use of WordPress platform.


Eventbrite logo

If you’re organising regular events, paid or free, EventBrite is one of the tools you should investigate. It handles registration, tracking, payments and much more. Simple to set up & use, EventBrite is a cloud-based tool which can be easily integrated with your WordPress website and payment method.


Facebook logo

Yup, Facebook! It’s not for everyone and it’s not for every business. A great tool for both B2B and B2C, depending on who you’re targeting. It is great for keeping people connected to you and your brand frequently, communicating with your current clients and prospects, sending out messages of your products / services, and simply presenting valuable information for your audience. Remember that Marketing cannot just be pin-pointed to a specific tactic or technology. It’s a combination of many touch points (we call it the user experience) that gives prospects the opportunity to get to know you and be comfortable with you before they decide to hire you.
